I signed up for the Catchlight—2025 Visual Storytelling Summit photo walk, which was led by Pablo Circa & Cameras + Coffee Club and held at the KQED headquarters.

A HUGH CROWED PRESENTE!!!

Pablo, a Bay Area local and Catchlight Alum, led with his background and introduction to photography. His photo documentation focuses on the disappearing Bay Area African-American community in which he grew up.

This was followed by a photo walk in the Mission District. Madd Props to Pablo for calling for general good street photo habits, but reminding folks that there are people in fear for their lives who may not want a camera near them.
..I had to leave the foto walk and catch BART for another obligation when we hit Mission Street. But not before the serendipity meeting with another Comptonian who was here for the event.
